Foxton is a small town that is north west of Palmerston North. It is a sea side settlement that comes alive during the summer months with holiday makers from all round New Zealand.

Foxton Beach, 2009: I just wanted to tell him to harden up but he is bigger than me. I watched all morning as he managed to tame the waves and ride them. He says riding a wive is just like riding a woman, but I really have my doughts about that.

If you happen to be in Palmerston North on the weekends and don’t mind getting up early you should head along to one of their markets.

This ATM machine located in Broadway in Palmerston North wasn’t exactly working how it should. It looks to me like it’s a web based application being used it’s kind of interesting.

Palmerston North is commonly known as the “Student City”. At the beginning of each year the population swells as the students return to University.

Today is finally the day! After a week of planning I’m hitting the road at about 0530, following state highway one all the way down to Palmerston North.

I went to visit the Te Apiti Wind Farm located to the south east of Palmerston North in the Tararua ranges. It was cold, wet and rather windy.
