A short walk around the bay and you come to Kairaki Beach which lines the banks of the Waimakariri River.

With the soft white sand under my feet I went for a walk down one of most used beaches around Dunedin. The weather really is not bad and the waves are breaking enough for surfers to have fun.

If you’re into fishing and like fresh water fish then make your next stop in Turangi. This small town south of Taupo is known for its Trout and its just about on every menu here.

I’ll give you three guesses where I was today. This was shot by Matt on the way out of Hanmer Springs. We played some mini golf I’ll upload some photos about that later on.

Waiau is a small farming town with very little cell phone reception. It’s the perfect place for anyone so connected to just disconnect for a while.

I went to visit the Te Apiti Wind Farm located to the south east of Palmerston North in the Tararua ranges. It was cold, wet and rather windy.

The falls are located close to the small township of Hunua. If you’re travelling by car from Papakura you can turn left into White Road and then hang a right into Falls Road.
