Whangarei Waterfall, New Zealand.

Whangarei Falls is a satisfying 26m waterfall near the city of Whangarei in New Zealand’s North Island. It can appear as several parallel columns of water or a large rectangular column depending on whether it has been raining heavily or not.

Jayson and I walked the loop track allowing us to experience the falls from the top and bottom. The bridge at the foot of the falls provided us with some awesome photo opportunities. The photos pictured were taken with Jayson’s new iPhone4.

If you are ever in the area you should check out this awesome landmark. It’s an easy walk for anyone. Check out the video I made a few years back about these falls.

I remember coming here back in 2009 after a weather bomb caused chaos across the country.

The water was brown you couldn’t even see the picnic tables because of the water.
