Experience: The new generation iPhone4.

Thanks to my mate Jayson I managed to get my hands on a brand new (new generation) iPhone4. It was one of those limited edition white ones everyone is trying to get hold of these days.
I’m not the most willing to admit that this thing is a choice piece of hardware but there were some very noticeable differences. Putting the whole rounded shape aside the iPhone4 is much faster to load apps and can run a few more without slowing down. I’ll confess that my only comparison is the older 3g model and the only app I really used was Angry Birds. Personally touch screen phones aren’t for me. I like phones with buttons that’s why my current phone is a humble Nokia E63.
The iPhone4 has a few other notable features like its high definition video capture and extremely high quality photos. You can’t tell anymore if the photo has been taken on a phone. Jayson and I recently went to the Whanagarei Falls and the resulting photos were captured on his iPhone4. They were impressive. The only changes I made to the photos was their size as native they were way too big for my site.
The latest edition has allegedly fixed the antenna and reception problems that were widely reported after the first generation was released.
Personally I’ll be sticking to my Nokia as it’s doing everything I want it to do so far. I’m not ruling out ever buying one but right now… I’m happy with what I have.
