Wellington, well known around the world for its windy weather, cable car and let’s not forget the politicians that run the joint.
Today I met up with YouTuber most people know as Jayson.
We ventured out around Wellington city and eventually ended up at the top of MT Victoria.
If you’re fit, the walk from Oriental Bay is always a challenge but the views from the top make it worth your effort. It was only after walking to the top I discovered you could drive. The car park and viewing area had recently been refurbished giving the area a cultural look.
At the foot of Mt Victoria the national museum of New Zealand can be found. Te Papa as its named is open most days from 10am till 6pm. This spot is also where NZ Youtubers gathered for the very first time in early 2008.
A short walk though town and we stumbled across the beehive.
The 10 story beehive is known by most as a symbol of New Zealand politics.
